Fire engulfs top floor of Khadigram Udyog building
Mumbai, Nov 16 (UNI) A fire engulfed the top floor of the three-storeyed Khadigram Udyog building at D N Road in south Mumbai today, damaging files and documents in three offices.
The fire broke out at 1845 hrs and was controlled within half-an-hour, fire brigade officials said.
Cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained though short circuit was not ruled out, the officials said.
The building has a showroom of Khadigram on the ground floor and the rest of the premises is occupied by private offices.
The offices were closed and therefore no casualties were reported, they added.
