EC not happy with Malhotra's reply

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) The Election Commissiom today expressed its displeasure to BJP's chief ministerial candidate from Delhi V K Malhotra over the issue of violation of standing instructions of the EC.

The EC found the reply of Mr Malhotra to the notice sent to him on the issue, unsatisfactory.

The Commision had earlier issued a show cause notice to Mr Malhotra for violating the standing instructions of the EC regarding maximum number of vehicles permitted within the periphery of 100 meters from the office of the Returning Officer and the number of persons allowed inside the RO's chamber while filing his nomination paper on novembef 8.
