Congressmen toss shoes, slippers in UP

Bhadohi, Nov 16 (UNI) Forgetting all discipline, Congressmen not only created an uproar over a disagreement, but also threw slippers and shoes at each other here today.

The incident occurred during the Congress' convention, when two groups of the party workers came face-to-face, following an altercation.

Later, when the issue snowballed, they tossed slippers and shoes.

The convention could only be carried out after the enraged party workers were pacified by the police.

The Bhadohi Assembly seat was lying vacant since the demise of Archana Saroj.
