Cong-NCP will together take on communal forces in Mah: Gadgil

Pune, Nov 16 (UNI) Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will come together for the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly election, to fight the communal forces in Maharashtra, state Congress spokesman Anant Gadgil has said.

Speaking at a function, organised by the party workers last night, Mr Gadgil said ''The primary discussion regarding the seat sharing has gone off well,'' he said.

''Congress will start a campaign 'Janjagaran Yatra' to reach out to voters in every district of the state and inform them about the achievements made by the party during its four-year tenure in the state and centre.'' Gadgil added The campaign will start on November 19, the birth anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi, from the pilgrimage centre of Shirdi, Mr Gadgil added.
