400 more Hajis left for Jeddah
Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) Another batch of 400 hajis from Jammu and Kashmir left in two special flights for Jeddah from Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport here today, official sources said.
Since the start of departure of pilgrims on October 30, a total of 3926 hajis have left for the pilgrimage at two holy cities of Mecca and Madina from the state so far.
However, both the flights on November 14 were cancelled due to heavy snowfall.
An estimated 8,000 pilgrims from the state would perform Haj this year.
