Cong candidate violates poll conduct
Indore, Nov 15 (UNI) The Returning Officer has issued a notice to Congress candidate from Indore consituency segment five Shobha Ojha and sought reply within 24 hours for using religious symbols during campaigning violating poll conduct.
Election Office sources said that Returning Officer of the constituency Gopal Chandra Daad issued a notice to Ms Ojha on the complaint of BJP for violating the model code of conduct as.
A compact disc and newspaper cuttings showing Ms Ojha with trishul and crown were also presented as evidences.
Use of religious pictures, symbols or costumes in poll campaigning was a violation of model code of conduct, he added.
