3 childern charred in fire in Chhattisgarh
Pathalgaon, Chhattisgarh, Nov 15 (UNI) Three minor siblings were charred to death when a fire broke out accidentally in a pile of hay at Bhandari village in Jashpur district's Kunkuri area, police said today.
Ashok Lakda's three children -- Amina (3), Arti (5) and Alep Khalkho died on the spot last evening.
The children were playing hide-and-seek on the hay-pile when a kid lit a matchstick to search his siblings in the dark but the burning matchstick fell on the hay pile. The hay caught fire and within seconds flames charred the kids.
The villagers reached the spot but till then the hay-pile turned into cinders with the kids, police added.
