Youth held on Indo-Pak border in Jammu
Jammu, Nov 14 (UNI) Security forces apprehended a mentally challenged youth from Indo-Pak International Border (IB) in Makwal area of R S Pura Sector, police sources here today said.
''The troops of 1 JAK LI arrested a youth under mysterious circumstances from international border of Makwal Post last evening, who was later found to be mentally retarded,'' police sources told UNI.
The youth was however, handed over to the police by the army while his identity was ascertained as Nepali, resident of West Bengal, they added.
''He was seemed to be mentally upset and not in a position to clarify his details except his identity but we are trying to find out that how he reached the border area,'' a senior police official said.
