Two militants shot dead by troops in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 14 (UNI) Two militants were today killed in an encounter with troops of 31 Assam Rifles at H Mongyang village in Chandel district near the Manipur-Myanmar border area.

Police said the two militants were not yet identified and arms and ammunition were recovered from the two militants.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem.

Details were awaited.
