Three arrested; 3,000 litres of spirit seized
Thrissur, Nov 14 (UNI) Three people were arrested and 3,000 litres of spirit seized by police at Chettuva near the coastal belt of Thrissur district today.
The arrested were identified as Arakkal Salam (37), Sreegith (32) and Shibu (31), members of an inter-state spirit smuggling gang.
A Tempo traveller and a Tata Safari, suspected to be stolen, were also seized by the police.
The seizure was made following a tip-off received by the District Superintendent of Police.
