Police rescued labourers stranded on Mughal road
Srinagar, Nov 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police has launched a massive operation to rescue labourers stranded at different places on the Mughal road in South Kashmir, a senior police officers said.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Shopian, said this evening that a massive rescue operation has been launched for the stranded labourers and animals on the road, who were caught in heavy snow fall.
He said 40 labourers and 90 animals were rescued from a village on the road. ''We have brought them to Shopian.'' The SP further said police teams have also been rushed to two different areas on the road where about 40 labourers are stranded.
He

tonight.''
