Governor to open concluding session of cultural event

Kozhikode, Nov 14 (UNI) Kerala Governor R S Gavai will inaugurate the concluding function of the cultural festival organised as part of the International Book Fair here tomorrow.

Janata Dal(S) Parliamentary Party leader M P Veerendra Kumar, A Pradeep Kumar, MLA, and Mayor M Bhaskaran would greet the gathering, State Institute of Language, Kerala (SILK), which organised the event said.

State Forest Minister Benoy Viswam would inaugurate the concluding session of the fair on November 16, it said.

Leaders of various political parties, including A K Saseendran, MLA, P S Sreedharan Pillai, T P Ramakrishanan, K C Abu and T V Balan would be present.

Meanwhile, the fair, had registered a total collelction of Rs 30 lakh since it began on November five, the release added.
