Fisherman drowns in sea

Puducherry, Nov 14(UNI) A fisherman, who ventured into the sea here last evening, feared drowned.

Police said Jeevarathinam of Poornamkuppam along with three others ventured into the sea last evening from the Thengaithittu fishing harbour. When they returned to the shore at around 0200 hour, their boat capsized at the sea-mouth and all the four fell from the boat. While three of them swam to safety, Jeevarathinam was found missing.

Efforts were on to trace him, police added.
