Zac Efron would love to be a surfer if not an actor

Melbourne, Nov 13 : Hollywood actor Zac Efron, who has made waves around the world with his High School Musical act, revealed he is a big fan of surfing.

"I love to surf every chance I get. Oh man, I would love to go surfing with Kelly Slater at Bells Beach," Herald Sun quoted Efron, as saying.

Efron said he would even consider pursuing a career in marine life.

He deferred his place at the University of Southern California when he hit the big time with the first HSM in 2006.

He was accepted into a film major, but said if he ever did take up his spot, he would switch to marine biology.

"Then I'd be in the ocean all the time," he said.
