Sony Ericsson launches 'Xperia' mobile phone

Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) Mobile entertainment brand Sony Ericsson has launched its premium ''Xperia'' mobile handset in India.

Sporting its distinctive arc-slider design and fully functional nine customisable panels, it is aimed squarely at the premium segment, a company release said here today.

Other features of the gadget, costing Rs 44,500, include three-inch clear wide VGA display, full QWERTY keyboard, metal-finish body loaded with Windows Mobile, the release added.
