SKF India-Suzlon inks five year pact

New Delhi, Nov 13: On Thursday, Nov 13 the rolling bearings and seals supplier SKF India Ltd said it has signed a five-and-a-half-year agreement with country's biggest wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd to supply mainshift bearings worth 303 million euros.

''We have signed the contract for supplying mainshift bearings to Suzlon,'' SKF India Managing Director Rakesh Makhija told presspersons. The company had reported a 14 per cent decline of in its net profit at Rs 37 crore for the quarter ended on Sep 30, compared to Rs 43.1 crore in the same period last year.
