Projects should be implemented at grassroot level: Kupekar
Kolhapur, Nov 13 (UNI) Maharashtra state assembly speaker Babasaheb Kupekar today said that developmental projects should not only remain on paper, but implemented at the grassroot level.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Kupekar said the watershed programme of the state government should become a mass movement and the state government should announce awards for the villages implementing the programme in the best possible way.
Later, after inaugurating the watershed week programme, organised by the state agriculture department, Mr Kupekar said that the state government has sucessfully implemented schemes like Nirmal Gram Yojana and Tantamukt Gaon Yojana and said that the watershed programme needs people's support to make it a success.
