Partners Faronics to Launch DeepFreeze for Cyber Cafe systems

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (UNI) Ideacts Innovations Pvt Ltd., (IIPL) an internet media company, headquartered in Mumbai, today announced the formation of a strategic alliance with Faronics, a Vancouver (Canada)-based market leader in delivering solutions, to launch its flagship product DeepFreeze in the Indian market ''free of cost''.

''The partnership targets the wide network of public terminals at Cyber Cafes to ensure they remain virus-free,'' according to Company's Head Operations South&East Krishna Swami Mohan.

''Our alliance with Faronics will enable cyber cafe owners to maintain virus-free environment, give the systems immunity against malconfiguration and prevent degradation. Their customers also get benefitted by cleaner systems that in spite of having multiple users, maintain a virus-free configuration,'' he said.

Cyber Cafe in India are the largest, cheapest and the most accessed touch point for internet today, contributing 36%-40% of the online traffic in India. IIPL, in which Sequola Capital has put USD 5 million of private equity in June 2008, has an innovative business model to create advertising platform for brands across the white labeled, fragmented market of Cyber Cafes in India.

IIPL's flagship product CLINCK, an active desktop application, is positioned as a one-to-one interactive communication medium that becomes an interface via which user access the internet in cyber cafes. The application provides user utilities-making internet browsing easier and also provides advertising opportunities for brands to reach out to an untapped audience. The CLINCK network has spread to 13,000+ screens of Cyber Cafes across 9 cities in India --Delhi, NCR, Punjab(Chandigarh and Ludhiana), Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad and Mangalore.
