MLA expelled from BJP

Bhind, MP, Nov 13 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party's Bhind MLA Narendra Singh Kushwah and ex-legislator Mathura Prasad Mahant were expelled from the BJP today.

''The party's Madhya Pradesh President Narendra Singh Tomar initiated the action against Mr Kushwah for contesting the ongoing polls on a Samajwadi Party ticket. Mr Mahant was expelled for canvassing in favour of his son Romesh who is contesting on a Bahujan Samaj Party ticket from Lahar,'' BJP District President Avdhesh Singh Kushwah said.

Mr Mahant has been BJP MLA twice from Lahar.
