Indian company tied-up with German Company on Dynamic Simulation
Bangalore, Nov 13 (UNI) City based computer simulation technology company ProSIM R&D Center and Munich Germany based technology Company INTEC have come together to bring SIMPACK, a multibody state-of-the-art Simulation Dynamic Software Technology for India.
Speaking after announcing the collaboration, S Shamasundar, Managing Director ProSIM said that SIMPACK is a simulation tool in which the entire vehicle model including steering, engine, clutch, gear, wheel can be created and analysed for ride, handling, roll over, drive comfort, noise and other related mechanical devices are included.
He said that by using SIMPACK a virtual model can be built and using the model, virtual testing can be conducted.
Stating that almost all the varieties of high-tech car manufacturers in the world has the application of SIMPACK including BMW, Mercedes Benz and this technology is being brought to Indian automotive industry through ProSIM.
Stating that SIMPACK will boost the service sector especially Automotive segment, which not only reduces cost, time run and also helps to improve product quality. Statistical analysis can be done to testify safety, fuel efficiency, durability and drive and comfort of any vehicle using SIMPACK. The high engineering technology can be used both at design stage and testing stage, he said.
He said that ProSIM, the technology partner for the German based INTEC, one of the world leaders in multibody dynamic simulation providers, will distribute software and provide training.
