Four killed, sixty injured as lorry overturns
Tiruchirapalli, Nov 13 (UNI) Four people, including two children were killed and 60 others injured when a mini lorry in which they were travelling overturned after running through a mound of bluemetal kept on the roadside, at Seshalur village on Tiruchirapalli-Dindigul Highway near here today.
Police said the occupants of the lorry, hailing from Idhayapatti-Alathur village, were on their way to Kallikattupatti village to attend a condolence meeting when the mishap occurred.
The injured were admitted to the Government Headquaters Hospital here and in Dindigul.
The conditions of some of the injured was critical, police added.
