Former Deputy Speaker Dharm Pal dies
Shimla, Nov 13 (UNI) Former Himachal Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dharm Pal Thakur today died of heart failure in Indira Gandhi Medical College here.
Thakur, 59, had represented Arki Assembly Constituency in Himachal Vidhan Sabha three times. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and a son.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Kaul Singh Thakur and former HPCC president Viplove Thakur condoled the demise of Thakur.
