Boy killed, three injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 13 (UNI) A boy was killed and three others were injured in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

Sources said a vehicle hit and injured critically a boy, Sajjad Ahmad Dar, at Lajura in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

In another accident, girl was injured when she fell down from an overcrowded passenger vehicle at Satrina in Ganderbal district.

People alleged that the traffic police posted there, have failed to check overloading in passengers buses. They further alleged that during evening hours people face problems due to non-availability of transport facilities on different uptown and downtown routes.

Sources said two persons, including a nine-year-old boy, Umar Bhat, were injured after they were hit by two vehicles at Pakherpora in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
