Anti-defacement drive stepped up in Rajnandgaon
Rajnandgaon, CG, Nov 13 (UNI) Intensifying its anti-defacement campaign, authorities today removed 516 hoarding, banners, posters and boards in this district to ensure strict compliance of the model code of conduct in the poll-bound Chhattisgarh.
Collector and District Returning Officer Sanjay Garg said action had been taken in 784 cases of anti-defacement. This includes 557 cases in Chhui Khadan tahsil followed by Rajnandgaon tahsil (161), Khairagarh tahsil (104), Dongargarh tahsil (56), Chowki (3), Mohala (5) and Manpur (6).
