10-kg IED recovered in Assam

Sivsagar, Nov 13 (UNI) A 10-kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from under a bridge in upper Assam's Sivsagar district today.

A joint team of police, Army and CRPF made the recovery from under a RCC bridge over river Taokak on Sonari-Namtola road this afternoon.

Bomb disposal squad had been called in to defuse the IED.
