Unlicensed gun, Rs 96 lakh seized from financier
Malappuram, Nov 12 (UNI) Police in a raid seized a country-made gun and Rs 96 lakh in cash from the residence of a private financier at Kuttippuram in the district today.
The unlicensed gun and the currency were seized from the house of Shaan Enterprises owner Mohammed Abdul Noor who was later arrested, police said.
They also seized records indicating deposits worth Rs 20 crore with the firm during the last three years, police added.
