SP leader Shailendra Singh no more, Mulayam mourns
Lucknow, Nov 12 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) Uttar Pradesh unit secretary, Shailendra Singh, passed away after a brief illness in the state capital late last night.
He was 40.
Singh, who was also the former president of Lohia Vahini, breathed his last at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences.
His last rites were performed at Nigri Khurd village in Etawah district today.
SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, meanwhile, in a condolence note said Singh was a well wisher of farmers. Besides, he was the one, who always fought against the evil.
Party state working president Shivpal Singh Yadav, in charge of Youth cell Akhilesh Yadav and MP Mata Prasad Pandey have also mourned the demise of the leader.
