Security strengthens for Kartik Mela in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Nov 12 (UNI) Tight security net has been laid down in this holy city in view of the renowned Kartik mela commencing from tomorrow.

Furnishing details about the security arrangements, District Magistrate Anil Agarwal and Senior Superintendent of Police R K S Rathore said all the Station House Officers and Circle Officers have been asked to be alert.

Security has primarily beem multiplied at the disputed Sri Ram Janmabhoomi complex and other religious spots, they added.

Besides local policemen, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and water police sleuths have also been garrisoned for zero lapse in security, the officials informed.
