Puar, Verma get bail

Indore, Nov 12 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Tourism and Sports Minister Tukoji Rao Puar and former MP Phool Chand Verma were today released on bail of Rs 5,000 each in a case relating to misbehaviour against Dewas district's Sonkach Returning Officer Sanjana Jain.

Defence Counsel Surendra Pandey submitted a bail plea before Chief Judicial Magistrate Jasveer Kaur Sasan.

The leaders were yesterday remanded to judicial custody until November 24. However, the duo fell ill soon after being conveyed to a jail in Dewas. They were admitted to the Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital here, where they were visited by Bharatiya Janata Party state president Narendra Singh Tomar, who urged to secure bail.
