Media centre set up in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 12 (UNI) The authorities today set up a media centre here to disseminate election related news and information to the print and electronic media.

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Masuad Samoon today visited Centre and went round the press room, news room, computer lab and conference hall and expressed satisfaction over the facilities available in the Media Centre.

The Deputy Director Information (PR), who is also in Charge of the Media Centre, apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the facilities available there.

He said the Centre is fully equipped with computers, internet, fax, telephone and other facilities to enable the mediapersons to transmit the election related information to their respective organisations.

The Divisional Commissioner also interacted with the officers and officials manning the Media Centre.
