Kerala Minister criticises Centre on Devaswom bill issue
Kollam, Nov 12 (UNI) Kerala Cooperation and Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran today said the state government would approach President Pratibha Devisingh Patil against the Union Government's apathy towards the new Travancore Devaswom Board bill, which was sent one year ago for approval.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said the bill was meant to increase the number of board members to seven from the present three.
He alleged that certain persons, who had benefitted from the present set-up of the Board was behind the Centre's attitude.
