IAF fighter crashes, pilots safe
Sivsagar, Nov 12 (UNI) A MiG trainer fighter today crashed near Sivsagar, about 320 km from Guwahati, but the two pilots managed to eject themselves at the last minute.
An official report received here stated that the aircraft crashed near Arenga of Tengrapukhuri, about 20 km from the nearest district headquarters of Sivsagar.
Senior police and IAF officials have rushed to the spot while the two pilots have been shifted to the nearest IAF base at Jorhat, about 60 km from the accident spot.
Details were awaited.
