MiG trainer fighter crashes near Sivsagar

Sivsagar, Nov 12: On Wednesday, Nov 12 a MiG trainer fighter crashed near Sivsagar, about 320 kms from Guwahati, but the two pilots managed to eject themselves at the last minute. Official report say that the aircraft crashed near Arenga of Tengrapukhuri, about 20 kms from the nearest district headquarters of Sivsagar.

Senior police and IAF officials have rushed to the spot while the two pilots have been shifted to the nearest IAF base at Jorhat, about 60 kms from the accident spot. Details are awaited.
