Chiranjeevi fan covers 1000 kms by Padayathra

Kakinada, Nov 12 (UNI) A senior advocate and former district Congress President Mr T V Satyanarayana Reddy, who quit the Congress and expressed support to actor Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party, today completed 56 days of padayathra' in East Godavari district covering over 1000 km distance for his idol's welfare and success.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Satyanarayana, who embarked on the Padayatra on September 17, said he had taken up the ''Padayathra'' without any political ambition and only with the sole aim of seeing Chiranjivi as Chief Minister. ''I am ready to serve Praja Rajyam Party in any capacity if the leader so orders', he said, expressing his commitment and unstinted support and loyalty to the megastar.

Claiming that people wanted a change and Chiranjivi to become the Chief Minister to bring out the desired change in the administration and standard of living, he said that people were no more in a position to be carried away by the other leaders' words.
