Buses collide after NC's election rally at Mendhar, one killed
Jammu, Nov 12 (UNI) One person was killed while another injured, when a bus hit behind another bus carrying people back after the National Conference (NC) rally at Mendhar today, official sources said.
''The accident occurred, when a bus bearing No JK12-2067 suddenly hit the other bus No JK12-5587 from behind,'' an eyewitness told UNI.
Both the buses were carrying people back after attending the election rally of the NC.
The deceased was identified as Fiyaz Hussain, son of Lal Din of Daryada in Salwah near Line of Control (LoC).
The injured, Nazeer Hussain, son of Mohammad Hussain of Salwah, was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Mendhar.
Police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation to ascertain the cause of accident.
