Body of missing engineering student found

Indore, Nov 12 (UNI) The body of an engineering college student, who went missing few days ago, has been found in Dewas town, police said today.

Indore-based Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science student Vijay Sharma went missing on last Sunday and his family members apprehended his abduction.

An unindentified body was recovered from the railway track in Nausherbagh near Dewas few days ago and police buried the unclaimed body in a graveyard.

The student's family were shown the clothes and other objects found with the body yesterday and they identified it as that of Vijay. Later the body was dug out from the graveyard.

Prima facie, this was a murder case, police added.
