Army to conduct painting competition for students
Kozhikode, Nov 13 (UNI) The Army will conduct a painting competition for students here tomorrow as part of Army mela to be held on November 23.
The event was being organised to create awareness among the people about the force guarding the borders, Mela Coordinator Col R K Nair said in a release here.
The competition would be held separately in sub-junior, junior and senior categories -- for 1st to 7th standard, 8th to 10th standard and 11 to degree classes -- at IMA Hall here, he said.
Those winning first, second and third spot will get a prize money of Rs 1,000, Rs 700 and Rs 500 in each category respectively, he added.
