Antony hails missile launch
New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Defence Minister A K Antony today congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the successful launch of the surface-to-surface missile 'Shourya' at Balasore in Orissa this morning.
In his message, Mr Antony said the successful test-firing of the new state-of-the-art canisterised missile marks another milestone in the country's missile programme.
The nuclear capable 'Shourya' missile system, with a range of 600 km, was flight-tested from the Interim Test Range (ITR) in Orissa today.
