Salem: Incentives for micro, small enterprises

Salem, Nov 11: Tamil Nadu Govt on Monday, Nov 10 announced incentives for the micro, small and medium enterprises in nine backward blocks. The blocks are Ayodhyapattinam, Kadaiyampatti, Konganapuram, Mecheri, Omalur, Peddanaickanpalaym, Taramangalam, Talavasal and Yercaud.

The incentives will be offered based on the Micro, Small and Medium Industries Policy 2008. The enterprises in these blocks could avail themselves of a capital subsidy of 15 percent on plant and machinery subject to a maximum of Rs. 30 lakh.
