TN: Programme on global warming on Nov 14

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 11: The city-based Barn Owl Nature club in association with World Wide Fund for Nature (India), Tamil Nadu, and Crea Children's Academy Matric school will organise lectures on global warming on the occasion of Children's Day here on November 14.

Club Director B Venkataramani, in a press release here today, said the programme was aimed at creating awareness on global warming and climate change among school students.

Painting and quiz competitions for the students would be held as part of the programme, he added.
