Moderate quake hits Indian Ocean

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) A moderate quake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit the Indian Ocean this evening.

According to the Meteorological department, the quake which struck at 1748 hrs, was epicentered at 01.6 degree north latitude and 66.8 degree east longitude.

There were no immediate reports of damage to property or loss of life, it added.
