Veteran freedom fighter Siya Ram Maitrey dies
Varanasi, Nov 10 (UNI) Nonagenarian veteran freedom fighter Siya Ram Maitrey passed away here today after a prolonged illness.
He was 90.
Siya Ram Maitrey had retired as Deputy Inspector General (Prison).
His last rites were performed with full state honours at Manikarnika ghat in the city.
