Kerala: Two RSS activists killed in bomb blast

Kannur, Nov 10: Two RSS workers, including a Mandalam Karyavahak, were killed in a bomb explosion at Cheruvanchery, near Kuthuparambu, in the district on Monday, Nov 10.

Police identified the deceased as K Pradeep of Cheruvanchery and K Dilip of Kolavallur Poovathakeezhil, both aged 28.

The body of Dilip was recovered by the Fire Force from a well and that of Pradeep was found near it.

The bodies were later sent for post-mortem.

Police suspect that the blast occurred while they were engaed in making bombs.

Pradeep was the sixth accused in the case relating to a bomb attack, in which a five-year-old girl lost her leg eight years ago.

Top police officials have rushed to the spot to supervise the investigation.
