Soren encourages industrial houses to set up units in Jharkhand
Bokaro, Nov 10 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren today asserted that industrial houses interested in setting up their plants in the state would be welcomed as their units would provide employement opportunities to people.
Mr Soren said the state would attain new heights by establishing new industries.
Urging people to give up the habit of drinking, Mr Soren advised them to engage themselves in agriculture.
''You should concentrate on farming and get benefit of various government schemes being implemented to promote agriculture,'' Mr Soren said.
He said the state government would soon provide employment to about one lakh people.
Earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the ninth block headquaters, Chandrapura, of the district.
