Reporter who caused Pink to storm out of interview resigns

Melbourne, Nov 10 : An Aussie correspondent for New Zeland broadcaster TVNZ, who caused popstar Pink to storm out of an interview, has resigned.

Hannah Hodson irked Pink by asking her a question about her own sister, who once worked as Pink's assistant.

The reporter quit after her employer investigated the incident according to the New Zealand Press Association reports.

Media reports suggest that Hodson had asked Pink why her sister had been sacked, after which the singer walked out and her management reportedly tried to forcefully remove the tape from TVNZ's camera.

"She's f-----g insane, She lost her marbles somewhere between there and here ... Her sister used to work for me. Her sister no longer works for me," News.com.au quoted Pink as telling Stuff.co.nz.

"I think so ... I'm not sure. I was really polite too, it was really hard," Pink said when asked about the problem.

A spokesperson for TVNZ denied that there was an argument over Hodson's sister.

"Her sister was mentioned in cordial terms. There was no challenge made about her employment," the spokesperson said.
