Haryana to spend Rs 515 cr on grain markets
Chandigarh, Nov 10 (UNI) Haryana Finance Minister Birender Singh today said the state government would spend a sum of Rs 515 crore during the current financial year to provide additional facilities in the grain markets of the state.
Out of this, Rs 227 crore had already been spent on providing additional facilities in the grain markets of the state, he said.
The Finance Minister said special emphasis was being given to promote infrastructure in the state and 70 per cent of the budget funds were being incurred on strengthening the infrastructure in rural and urban areas.
He said works amounting to Rs 300 crore had been initiated in the Uchana constituency as it would help in improving the socio economic condition of the poeple in the constituency. He said a new grain market for Uchana Kalan had been sanctioned.
The Minister said all the constituencies were being developed equally.
