Gold steady in opening session on bullish advice

Mumbai, Nov 10: Standard gold was steady in the opening session on Monday, Nov 10, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.

While, silver recovered marginally by Rs 25 per kg in view of high global advices, they said. Gold opened at Rs 11,715 per ten gm, while silver at Rs 17,485 per kg. In Asian markets too, a positive trend was seen, as gold was quoted high at USD 751.00/752.50 (745.00/746.25) per troy ounce, while silver was quoted at USD 10.28/10.29 (10.21/10.22) per troy ounce respectively.

Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 17,485 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 11,715 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 11,780.
