EC orders revision of photo electoral rolls in Pondy

Puducherry, Nov 10 (UNI) The Election Commission of India has ordered a special revision of photo electoral rolls 2009 for all the assembly constituencies in the Union territory enabling fresh inclusion of voters, who attain 18 years of age with reference to Janaury one, 2009 as the qualifying date.

An offical release said here today, the draft roll was published and claims and objections can be filed upto November 25 and after completing processes, the final voter's list would be published on January ten next year.
