Daniel Craig to get into the shoes of 'William-The Conqueror'?

Washington, Nov 10 : After playing with expensive guns in James Bond flicks, Hollywood actor Daniel Craig is reportedly set to don legendary British King William's look for an upcoming flick 'William-The Conqueror.

The 'Casino Royale' star is allegedly in talks to play the title role in the39.25 million dollars mega budget flick, which will bring to light William's life prior to his victory at the 1066 Battle of Hastings.

"A lot of people in America might not have heard of William or 1066, but believe me, this project has got all the ingredients of a hit movie," Conatctmusic quoted Movie spokeswoman Pamela Koffler as saying.

"We don't mind whether he (the movie William) is British or American; he has just got to be a great actor with movie star appeal," she added.

Meanwhile, Daniel was also in news for recommending a black bond following Barack Obama's win.
