Aries Agro opens new manufacturing plant in UP

Mumbai, Nov 10 (UNI) City-based micronutrient company, Aries Agro Limited (AAL), today launched its new Rs 2.1 crore worth manufacturing plant in Lucknow.

The Company plans to manufacture its flagship product -- Agromin in the 10,000 sq ft manufacturing unit, that has a capacity of 1,08,00 MT a year, Aries Agro said in a release here.

The unit is expected to generate Rs 350 lakhs annual revenue for farmers in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and West Bengal.

''We believe that this seventh manufacturing unit of Aries and the first one in north India will do well in providing cost effective formulations of multi micronutrient complexes to North Indian farmers,'' Company executive Director Dr Rahul Mirchandani said.
